Bell Hall is a handsome early Victorian house with views over rolling parkland and standing in the privacy of beautiful gardens and grounds. The house has distinguishing architecture with striking period features throughout and further benefits from an extensive range of traditional stables and coach houses with a grooms flat in the clock tower.
The house is beautifully presented throughout with scale and grandeur for large scale entertaining while providing comfortable every day living space. The front door opens to a magnificent reception hall with high moulded ceilings with frescos, polished oak floor and a notable staircase lit by a deep leaded window with stained glass displaying the Perrot-Noel crest. The supremely elegant drawing room enjoys a deep bay window framing immense far reaching views to the Clee Hills and double
doors open to the equally elegant sitting room. Both rooms have attractive fireplaces and beautiful ceilings. The immense south facing dining room is ideal for formal entertaining with the billiard room and study to be found across the inner hallway. Designed by Richard Lane of The Establishment, the kitchen is superbly fitted with a range of bespoke cream cupboards, granite worktops & limestone floor, a four door AGA range as well as a range of integrated appliances. The kitchen opens to a dining area with French doors beyond to the south facing terrace. This is complimented by a large utility room and cosy neighbouring morning room.
Upstairs the five principal bedrooms lead off a wide galleried landing. The master bedroom suite is fitted with an extensive range of cupboards with adjoining dressing room and shower room while the others are complimented by three bath/shower rooms and fitted cupboards. A door opens to a secondary landing off which are two bedrooms and a bathroom and a staircase leads to the second floor with two further bedrooms. The extensive cellars, cupboards and storerooms provide
storage throughout the house.
To the side of the house is a courtyard with an extensive range of buildings providing four garages. Beyond the courtyard an archway leads through to a further walled yard with a range of buildings housing secure specialist garaging within the former coach house with dehumidifier and heating. The Victorian stable block is still fitted with the original stalls and these could easily be adapted to provide a number of loose boxes if required. Below the attractive clock tower is the Grooms flat. While presently disused this has an open plan living room and kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Bell Hall stands in an elevated position with far reaching views over its glorious parkland to the Clee Hills in the distance. The house enjoys a rural idyll while being close to the pretty village of Belbroughton, along with the nearby towns of Kidderminster and Bromsgrove. The M5 (junction 4) is just 2.5 miles and way and Birmingham is within easy commuting distance as are a number of Midland business centres.
Belbroughton has a thriving village community, primary school, tennis club, church and four charming pubs. The area is renowned for its first class schooling, leisure and recreational facilities. There are a number of beautiful walks and bridleways.
From the M5 (junction 4) exit onto the A491 towards Stourbridge. At the roundabout take the second exit and follow the road for 0.8 miles before turning left at the traffic lights signposted to Belbroughton (the B1488 Hartle Lane) The driveway to Bell Hall is found after a short distance on the left-hand side.
