Norwich 21 miles Attleborough 6 miles Watton 3 miles
Lot 1 - The Mill and adjoining Granary
We understand that The Mill ceased being an active mill around 1940 and is an excellent example of its type believed to have been constructed in 1864 and listed Grade II*.
The Mill was purchased in 1969 and still has the majority of the workings in tact. The adjoining former Granary was later converted into a residential dwelling. The Mill stands in a slightly elevated position in one corner of the plot and has good open views of farmland behind and of the gardens and grounds to the front.
Lot 2 - The Cottage
The Cottage was acquired some years after purchasing The Mill by the present owners and is now offered for sale separately and is constructed mainly of brick under a tiled roof and is in need of renovation and repair.
The dividing line between The Cottage and The Mill is yet to be determined and this will be dependent upon whether the properties are sold separately or as one lot. We draw your attention to the floor plans to see as to how the accommodation is arranged within The Granary and The Mill.
Outside
The Mill and Granary are set back from the road approached via a long private driveway passing The Cottage leading up to The Mill. The gardens are largely lawned with a variety of mature trees, shrubs and plants and hedging marking the majority of the boundaries. There are various stores around the property many of which are in need of renovation and repair. Dependant upon whether the properties are to be sold as one or two lots as advertised, the boundary between The Cottage and The Mill is yet to be determined and will be negotiated once a buyer has been found.
The whole area in all extends to 1.24 acres (est).
